At Word of God Christian Center of South Carolina (WGCC), we welcome all people of all ethnicities to become in-person Active Associates of our Church. In addition we invite all people of all ethnicities to become online virtual associates of our Online-Family-and-Friends of WGCC We welcome all people of all ethnicities who: 1) proclaim the Lordship of Jesus Christ, 2) embrace Christian beliefs and values, 3) share and accept our our Statement of Faith, 4) accept the pastoral covering and leadership of our Pastor and 5) accept the Bylaws of our Church. At Word of God Christian Center of South Carolina, we believe that affiliation with a church should be a Holy Spirit-led decision; and, as such, we strongly encourage people to affiliate with the church to which they sense a spiritual connection.
At WGCC, we invite people to become a part of our regular (in-person) Active Associates, as well as our (virtual) online Online-Family-and-Friends of WGCC. Our Online-Family-and-Friends of WGCC receive pastoral covering, church services, and other church services, same as our in-person Active Associates. All new affiliate individuals – whether in-person or online, are expected to complete our Church’s Welcome-to-WGCC Classes. Upon completing the Welcome-to-WGCC classes, attendees will sign an Acceptance and Acknowledgement Statement.
Welcome-to-WGCC classes provide an overview of: our Church’s mission, a Bible-based outline of what we believe, expectations of Associates and Friends, our Church’s bylaws and governance. At Word of God Christian Center of South Carolina, we acknowledge Jesus Christ as the Head of the Church Universal; and we embrace others who acknowledge the same.
